Description
The problem with massaging your upper back and lower back on your own is reaching them. With a loose ball against the wall, it falls as soon as you move, and you end up picking it up from the floor every two minutes.
This one has a suction cup. It sticks to a smooth wall, a tile or a door, and stays where you put it. Lean against it and move your body to pass over the area you want: back, lower back, glutes or side. As you do not have to hold it, you control the pressure by moving closer to or further from the wall.
It is a 54 mm diameter resin sphere. The resin is firm, so the pressure reaches deeper instead of spreading out as it would with a soft ball.

- Which surfaces does it stick to?
- Smooth, non-porous surfaces such as tile, glass, a lacquered door or a very smooth wall. The suction cup will not grip textured walls, exposed brick or rough paint.
- Can it hold your body weight?
- It is not designed for you to hang from it. You lean against the wall, with the ball between your back and the surface. The suction cup keeps it from falling while you get into position; it is not there to support your weight.
- Is it very hard?
- The resin is firm, and that is the point: a soft ball spreads the pressure and does not reach as deeply. If it feels too intense at first, move further from the wall to put less weight on it.
- Can I use it on the floor?
- Yes, by lying on top of it, although the suction cup then adds nothing and the pressure comes from your body weight, which is considerably greater. It is easier to control against the wall.
